In the Beginning

Hello, Today we are going to have some portions of the Bible from Genesis.
Genesis 1
1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2. And the earth was without was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3. And God said, Let there be light and there was light.
4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5. And God called the light day, and the darkness he called night.  And the evening and the morning were the first day.
6. And God said let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7. And God made the Firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8. And God called the firmament Heaven.  And the evening and the morning were the second day.
9. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered togather unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering togather of the waters Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11. And God said, Let the Earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seeds, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12. And the earth brought forth grass, the herb yieldingseed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

In just these 12 verses you can see that the Earth was created by God in Genesis 1 there are 31 verses next week  I will put up more verses next week and then we will go over how amazing it is that God created the world in 6 days.
see ya'll.

Christians

Hello,

A lot of people say that there Christians but they don't believe the part about creation in the Bible it is so strange that the believe evolution instead of Creation I mean when you think about it God sent his only son to die for us, shouldn't you try do what he says in his word and believe him enough to understand that he made the world? when you look around the world you can easily see that someone created it yet evolutionist say that is was created by random chance how can that be? I mean think about if we were a little bit closer to the sun we would fry if we were farther away we would freeze how do evolutionist explain that? it was the big bang or something. So evolutionist say that people live on other planets how can that be in the Bible it says that Jesus died once and for all he couldn't go from planet to planet dieing for the people so how you explain it is there aren't people on planets there isn't even one speck of proof for people on planets.

A Young Earth

Hello.

Why I named my blog www.indefenseofayoungearth.com is because I love Creation it is so amazing to learn about why the world wasn't made millions of years ago and and about animals how they stay alive in a certain place that most animals would die at so I am going to tell you some stuff in defense of a young earth. I am going to explain this in a few different posts so you may have to wait a week before I finish something from the week before. I am going to tell you some stuff from a book called The Young Earth Past Present and Future by John Morris
. How many times have you opened a newspaper and read an article describing the discovery of a new fossil, Archeological find, or underground fault? After describing the nature of discovery, the article explains how Scientist are so thrilled with its confirmation of evolutionary theory. an age, is is reported perhaps millions or even billions of years. No questions are raised concerning the accuracy of the date, and the readers are lead to feel they have no reason to qeustion it either. Did you ever wonder how scientist got that date? How do they know with certainty that something happened so long ago? It is almost as if rocks and fossils talk, or come with labels on them how old they are and how they were fossilized.
As an earth scientist, one who studies rocks and fossils, I will let you in on a little secret. My geologic colleagues may not like me to admit this, but rocks don't talk!! Nor do they come with explanatory labels. I have lots of rocks in my own personal collection, and there are many more in the ICR museum. These rocks are well cared for and much appreciated. I never did have a " pet rock " but I do have some favorites. I have spent many hours Collecting, Cataloging, and cleaning them. Some I even polished and displayed.
But what would happen if I asked my favorite rock, Rock how old are you? Fossil how did you get that way? You know what would happen? Nothing! Rocks do not talk! They do not talk to me, And I strongly suspect they do not talk to my evolutionary colleagues either! So where do the dates and histories come from?
They say carbon dating works but how do they know it works? how do they know it tells the truth about the years? there just guessing. Hey ya'll next week I'll finish telling you the stuff in defense of a young earth next week I will tell you all of the thing you'll want to hear.
Disclosure: The things in red are from the book and the things in black are from me.

William Jenning Bryant [The Monkey Trial]

Hi.

Have you ever heard of of the Monkey Trial? It was one of the first well known stands ever taken for evolution, William Bryant was the Christian lawyer who defended creation. Sadly the trial turned into smart versus stupid meaning the Christians stupid and evolutionist's smart. The lawyer who defended John. T. Scopes was named Clarence Darrell. In 1925 Tennessee passed the BUTLER LAW forbidding the teaching of Darwin's evolution in any Public School or University; other southern states followed suit. This is the Butler law - "It shall be unlawful for any teacher in any of the universities, normals, and all other public schools of the State … to teach any theory that denies the story of the Divine Creation of man as taught in the Bible, and to teach instead that man has descended from a lower order of animals.” Any teacher found guilty of the misdemeanor would be fined between $100 and $500. This case should have been an open and shut case-did a high school mathematics-turned-biology teacher teach evolution in class? If yes, Scopes was guilty of violating a new Tennessee law. When the trial began more then 1oo journalists were there thinking Darrow the tolerant and forward thinking and Bryan symbolized narrow-mindedness, tribalism, and social backwardness, Christianity at its worst. Sadly damage was done and Christians became ashamed to show their faith.
